Activate
The first time KnownX MPT starts it asks for your licence key. The key looks like KNX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX and was emailed to you.
- Enter the key.
- Choose Activate.
Activation uses one of your licence’s seats for this computer. After that, KnownX MPT confirms its licence by itself each time it starts. Without a connection it keeps working for up to a week.
| Situation | What to do |
|---|---|
| All seats are in use | On a computer that no longer needs it, open the launcher, choose Licence…, then Deactivate this computer. You can also free a seat from your customer account. |
| This computer has no internet connection | On the activation page choose This computer has no internet connection. Send the computer ID shown to KNOWN Corporation, then load the licence file you receive with Load a licence file…. |
| The key is lost | Sign in to your customer account and choose Replace the licence key. |
