KnownX MPT is an orbital simulation and mission planning tool for Low Earth Orbit missions, built on a physics engine validated against public TLE data. It is developed by KNOWN Corporation in Kigali, Rwanda.

KnownX MPT is a desktop application. Windows is supported now; Linux and macOS are planned. See the system requirements.

Propagation results are compared against public TLE data from Space-Track and CelesTrak for documented satellites. The difference in position is measured, and the model is corrected before a milestone is called complete. The method is described in the validation methodology.

API and systems integration is part of the Enterprise edition. It gives programmatic access to scenario creation, propagation control and data retrieval.

An AI assistant built into KnownX MPT, in a panel beside the simulation. It works from the mission you have open, answers questions, and prepares changes for you to review. See the Mission Companion help topic.

What the workspace shows at that moment: the objects in the scenario, the controlled spacecraft and its propellant, mass and engine figures, the force models switched on, the mission sequence, the predicted trajectory, any closest approach, and the validation status of the run.

It answers questions about the mission and about orbital mechanics, and it can propose actions the workspace supports: adding, editing or removing mission sequence steps, engine and throttle settings, time scale, drag settings, the trajectory preview, camera and selection, and telemetry recording and export.

No. Every proposal appears as a card that you accept or reject. Nothing runs until you accept it, and you can dismiss a proposal instead.

It reports the validation status of a run exactly as the workspace shows it, and checks a requested manoeuvre against the propellant, mass and thrust the spacecraft has before proposing it. Accuracy itself is established with the validation tools, as described in the validation methodology.

Yes. When you send a message, your message, the conversation so far and a summary of the open mission are sent through KNOWN to the AI model provider that produces the reply. Your licence identifies the request. Details are in the privacy policy.

Yes. The trial gives full access for 14 days, with no card or payment details. Request a trial and we email a trial licence key, normally within one working day.

Paid editions are priced per seat, billed for a year or month by month. Paying for the year costs less than twelve monthly payments. Current prices are on the editions and pricing section; Enterprise and academic pricing is quoted on request.

One seat is one computer with KnownX MPT activated on it. A five-seat licence can be active on five computers at a time. You can move a seat from one computer to another whenever you need to.

Contact sales with the edition and number of seats. We send a quote as a private link with a PDF. You accept it online, we email an invoice, and your licence key is emailed when the invoice is paid.

By bank transfer or mobile money. The account details and the reference to use are printed on every invoice. Card payment is not available yet.

Prices on this site are before tax. If tax applies to your purchase it is shown as its own line on the quote and the invoice.

Yes, for universities, research programmes and students licensed through their institution. Ask sales for an academic quote.

Open KnownX MPT, choose Activate, and enter the licence key from your email. Do this on each computer that will use a seat.

KnownX MPT checks its licence with our server when it starts. A computer that is briefly offline keeps working for up to a week. For computers that are never connected, ask us for an offline licence file, which works until the end of the period you have paid for.

Sign in to your customer account, find the computer under your licence, and choose Free this seat. The seat can then be activated on another computer.

Sign in to your customer account and choose Replace the licence key. A new key is emailed to the address on the licence, and the old key stops working for new computers. Computers that are already activated carry on.

Go to Customer sign in and enter an email address we hold for your organisation. We email a link that signs you in; there is no password. The account shows your subscription, invoices, licence and activated computers.

A subscription renews at the end of each period at the price in your quote. We email the renewal invoice 30 days before a yearly period ends, or 7 days before a monthly one. Pay it and the licence carries on without interruption.

Switch renewal off in your customer account, or tell us. KnownX MPT keeps working until the end of the period you have paid for, then stops. You can switch renewal back on any time before then.

We send reminders after the due date. If a renewal is not paid, KnownX MPT stops working shortly after the paid period ends, and starts again as soon as the invoice is paid. Your scenarios and data stay on your computers.
